Ciputra Group is the fifth business group. This business group started from PT Citra Habitat Indonesia, which in early 1990 and recognized the wholly name was changed to Ciputra Development (CD). Ciputra become dirutnya and sixth ranks of directors be filled by children and son-Ciputra.

Howard Schultz, The Story of the Global Cup of Coffee

What would you do if your idea was rejected and abused-even considered insane-by 217 of 242 people who had been invited to speak? Give up? Or even more excited? If this last option that you do, perhaps someday, a dream of making world-class business could be yours.

Well, that's a true story experienced by Howard Schultz, who is considered the most instrumental in raising the Starbucks coffee shop. "A cup of coffee and a half dollars? Crazy! Who's going? My goodness, if you think this will work? American people will never spend one and a half dollars for a coffee," that's a bit of the many who accepted Howard's diatribe, when spawning ideas for changing the concept of Starbucks sales.

In the autobiographical book written together with Dori Jones Yang, Pour Your Heart Into It: How Starbucks Building A Company A cup of sake cup-Howard told how he pioneered the "cup after cup" and made the Starbucks coffee shop with the largest network worldwide.

Initially, Howard Schultz is a general manager at a company called Hammarplast. One time, he came to the Starbucks that was originally just a small store retailer of coffee beans that have been roasted. This shop is owned by the duo of Jerry Baldwin and Gordon Bowker as the early founders of Starbucks. The duo is known to be very keen to learn about coffee quality. Seeing their excitement about the coffee, Howard decided to join Starbucks, who was then 10 years old. He was soon able to close with Jerry Baldwin. Unfortunately, it is less effective with Gordon Bowker and Steve, a new Starbucks investors. Even so, Howard is trying to adapt and try to introduce various reforms to raise the idea of Starbucks.

One time, Howard Schultz came up with brilliant ideas. He urges Jerry to transform Starbucks into Italian-style espresso bar. After lengthy debate and argument, both at a stalemate. Jerry refused because even a good idea, Starbucks is being thrown into debt so it will not be able to finance the changes.

Howard was then determined to establish his own company. Learning from Starbucks, he did not want to owe and chose to struggle to find investors. And, the choice is then made to work extra hard. Rejected and humbled to be part of daily life that must be faced.

Determination was achieved - and even - with the money collected from business, he managed to buy Starbucks from its founders. However, hard work does not stop with terbelinya Starbucks.
